Q2. How do I nominate my beneficiaries?

If you're logging in through the mobile app, log in and click on the icon on the top right corner, and select 'beneficiaries' from the drop down list. If this is your first time nominating beneficiaries, you can also access through the 'to do list' on the home page.

If your're logging in via the web based portal, log in and click on either i) 'to do list' (if you have not previously nominated) or ii) 'beneficiaries'.

In the Beneficiaries page, you then have two options depending on your preference:-

1. Opt to have your benefits paid in accordance with Sharia Law by selecting the first tick box

or

2. Opt to nominate specific individuals. Under this option you can provide the details of the individual you wish to nominate. Should you wish to nominate more than one, then it allows you to allocated the percentage of your account value applicable to each.

Please ensure that you keep your beneficiary nomination up-to-date, particularly in line with any life events. You can delete beneficiaries by editing your existing submission.

This is an important step to help the Trustee understand your wishes regarding how your DEWS benefits should be distributed in the unfortunate event of your death. Any nomination you make will be considered by the Trustee when exercising its discretion under the Scheme Rules.
